Love Everywhere – Bump into someone else’s shopping cart on purpose?
Cindy tells us why she does it… “We have all been to the store and heard a child’s cry and many of us would want to help, we feel for the parent and child, what really would tug at my heart was especially if a mom/dad was really upset or yelling, if I heard something like that in the next aisle, my support instincts would kick in and I would try to bump into them on purpose with my cart!
Sometimes with stresses and pressures or lack of support or skill a parent can loose focus, become embarrassed or worse loose their temper, I wasn’t judging, I just wanted to help, but my mind was racing as to how???…to send them a message somehow of what their role was and how special they are to that child, so even if it took an unusual method like taking my cart and accidentally bumping into a mom/dad just so I can tell them how beautiful their child is and how proud she/he must be of them I would do it!
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t hang out at a mall or store looking for this opportunity….. LOL…but if I am shopping and I hear a cry or yelling I tend to try and make my way over to the situation. A little unusual, I know…….but I have seen this small gesture make a parent’s eye’s light up, refocus and the energy change for the better.”
